I recently had the opportunity to take a 2 day altered books workshop with Carol Owen sponsored by Carolina Memories in Durham, NC.

I can't express how inspirational the weekend was for me.
I'd wanted to play with altered books for some time, but had never gotten up the courage to actually start one. Once I started, though, it was more than a little hard to stop - less than a week after the workshop my first book was completed.
